When HELP Can't Wait exists to supply very current needs for the comfort and convenience of nursing home residents that cannot be readily funded by the facility where they reside. With Health care costs and minimum wage rising, these facilities are stretched to fund the regulated needs. "Quality of Life" items are simply the last to be funded as a result. The average stay in a long term facility has dropped from 3 years to 2.5. The target population are all at/or below the poverty level. Today's residents simply Cannot Wait for Funding - We Must Act NOW!!

Concert is being professionally filmed for a DVD that will be distributed to area nursing homes for residents long-term enjoyment.
Tickets are $7.00 per adult and children 12/under Free.

We now have an outstanding 'Women's Boutique' located inside our offices where you can find the most beautiful outfits, designer labels, purses, shoes and jewelry for very low prices. Best anywhere - all donated items (some new, never worn) all in new condition - and all sales benefit our nursing home residents. Not a store - but our 'upscale yard sale' items. We are launching our 'Gifts that Uplift' program that will try to place CD players and M3 players in all our homes to lift residents from depression. We can use any of those items that you have updated and would like to donate your older models. We're excited about this and will soon be announcing a Gospel Concert to support this effort.
ALSO - MAY 19TH - Put it on your calendars now. Our Gospel Concert to support our residents - WISDOM is the featured group and they are spectacular!!

I recently had the privilege of speaking to some great groups to share our mission at When HELP Cant' Wait. People are so generous when they know about our organization and the service we provide. I am available to speak to your civic or church group by simply calling our office at 706-855-0715 to schedule a time.

Our website is growing with us! Thanks to the efforts of Splice Media, we have been able to revamp our website. We rely heavily on our website as a resource for gaining volunteers and receiving donations that help us meet the needs of nursing home residents in the CSRA area. We are very excited about the changes we have made to our online home, and we hope you enjoy our new website.
